RESOLUTION Giving modify and read and execute permissions to TFSService Account in “d:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server\TF Setup\” folder. (Customer had installed TFS on D drive) ROOT CAUSE TFSService Account not having read and execute permissions in “d:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server\TF Setup\” folder.

I suspect it’s something to do with frontpage extensions being installed on the server, and then being removed before starting the TFS install process. Any ideas?
