I basically agree with the summary.

I had a problem where the web tests that I had recorded using VS on a physical
box, could not be recorded again when I was put on a virtual box. Sounds weird
but Fiddler solved the problem.

I also found that with VS recording web tests some-times meant going in and
editing afterwards (e.g. to include multi-media files that for some reason got
left out in VS web test), whereas Fiddler was just a bit nicer.

Subject: Fiddler?

Somebody in the company showed how to record a web test using Fiddler and then
importing it into VSTS.

>From what I've seen online, the advantage of Fiddler over VSTS is that it can
>capture AJAX calls. Besides that, VSTS should be able to cope with most
>scenarios.

But I'd like to hear what do you guys think, and what you've been doing with
Fiddler and VSTS.

thanks in advance.
