I basically agree with the summary.
I had a problem where the web tests that I had recorded using VS on a physical box, could not be recorded again when I was put on a virtual box. Sounds weird but Fiddler solved the problem. I also found that with VS recording web tests some-times meant going in and editing afterwards (e.g. to include multi-media files that for some reason got left out in VS web test), whereas Fiddler was just a bit nicer.
