How to: Save Work Item Queries

You can save a query to a folder location to share with other users if you have
permission to do so. These are called Team Queries. If you want to save queries
for your own use, save them in the My Queries folder.

Required Permissions

To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have
the View work items in this node permission set to Allow. To save a query as a
team query, you must be a member of the Project Administrators group. For more
information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions

Onderwerp: [OzTFS] managing "Save query" permissions

Hello all -

I can't seem to find any reference to how permissions are managed relative to
saving work item queries. I have some users ("Contributors") who are getting
the error below when they attempt to save to the "team queries" folder.

Any thoughts?

---------------------------

Microsoft Visual Studio

---------------------------

"RTI Tasks [Query]" could not be saved to the specified location. Please
select a different location or check that you have appropriate permissions for
this location.

---------------------------

OK
