Morning all,

We have a large legacy system in VB6 that we now use TFS SCM as the
source control with the MSSCCI Provider. Of late we have been a strange
issue with check-outs.

If you check out a file, make a change, and check it back in, all seems
fine. But then if you check it out again, vb6 ide gives an error stating
that it is already checked out, and it will not let you check it out. If
you look at the source control tree in team explorer, it's not checked
out, and from there you can check it out, but not from the VB6 ide. We
have tried using the "Refresh File Status" option in VB6 with no
difference. The only way to fix the problem is to close the VB6 ide, and
reopen it.

Has anyone else come across this, or have any ideas what might be
causing it. We did notice that all the files this has occurred on have
been contained in a shelf set at one time or another, but I think that
is just a co-incidence.

Thanks
