Hi Peter, I think that the role of Build Master has been around for a while, and they tend to have varying levels of programming and systems engineering skills. I like to think of myself as a bit of a toolsmith if that makes any sense.
Usually its something that I demand on projects I work on :) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Peter Ritchie Sent: Saturday, 28 April 2007 11:46 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OzTFS] Who's using TFS? Hello all. I'm curious, for those of us using/administering TFS, how would you define your role? Are you in charge of configuration management (i.e. it's really part of your job description), are you a developer who's taken the lead to ensure revision control is done, or has it been delegated to you because you're available/trusted? I know for me, this task is given to me because of my track record, not because it's part of my role. I'd be interested to find whether the trend is due to your role or not.
