We have been using SCP Selector without problem for a while now. I can
recommend that one, but have not tried the other.

Subject: RE: [OzTFS] Bug on MSSCCI Provider 1.2 on VS 2003

That's correct. VS2005 supports the installation of multiple Source Code
Control Providers (MSSCCP). VS2003 only supports one at a time.

To switch between the two is just a registry patch:

VSS.reg:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider]

"ProviderRegKey"="Software\\Microsoft\\SourceSafe"

TFS.reg:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider]

"ProviderRegKey"="SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Team Foundation Server MSSCCI
Provider"

But a few people have made some neat little provider switcher utilities
to make it easier:

required for download)

Mostafa,

In VS2005 you can switch the Source Control Provider by going to
Tools->Options->Source Control. Does a similar option exist in VS2003?

Dear All,

                After installing MSSCCI provider 1.2 on VS 2003,the

even though on the VS IDE setting you select to use VSS setting as a

When you try to open any project which has been Linked to VSS, you will
get this error :

Even if you try to change the Source Control from File->Source
Control->Open From Source Control again it let you to select from
available TFS Server not VSS.

Please log this error to TS Team and I need a help other than Un
