Firstly I'd like to thank everybody for being such good subscribers. I'm
really impressed at how 'well behaved' the list is. Thanks!
Just so we're all clear about where we stand, here's how I run the list:
* Readify (with the help of Bill Chesnut) provides server
hardware and network connectivity for the list server. I think it's fair
that this is acknowledged in the footer.
* MailEnable provided us a free copy of their mailing list
software, as long as we acknowledge them in the footer.
* Don't spam the list. If you want to advertise your services or
your company's services - take it offline with specific individuals.
(Readify included)
* Myself (and Readify) don't do anything with your email
addresses except 'count' them for stats.
* All email addresses are scrubbed out on the web-based archive.
* Be aware that somebody could subscribe to the list and harvest
your address and use it for malicious purpose when you post to the list
- sorry, I can't do anything about this.
If anybody has any feedback on the list, or things they'd like to see or
change, send me an email and I'll see what we can do.
