An update on team build migration from Buck Hodges:

"the upgrade process will create build definitions in TFS 2008 from the
build types in TFS 2005. In TFS 2008, all of the build definition
information other than the tfsbuild.proj and tfsbuild.rsp files is
stored in the Team Foundation Build database, and the upgrade process
will migrate the data for you."

Thanks Buck!

Subject: [OzTFS] Migration Stories from TFS 2005 to Orcas

Hi All,

What issues have people encountered upgrading TFS 2005 environments to
Orcas?

There are a few hints on Brian Harrys blog in the comments section (for
Orcas Beta 2):

http://blogs.msdn.com/bharry/archive/2007/06/20/june-devdiv-dogfood-stat
istics.aspx#3442662
<http://blogs.msdn.com/bharry/archive/2007/06/20/june-devdiv-dogfood-sta
tistics.aspx#3442662>

I'm particularly interested in experiences upgrading Team Build projects
and any differences in the build definition files.

Thanks,
Matt
