I've now slapped myself in the forehead and feel much better for doing so.

When running setupwarehouse.exe I was using the command line. When I tried
running it with the -rebuild option I was using command line history to save
typing and forgot to remove the -o option to force a rebuild of both the OLTP
and OLAP databases.

I just did a full rebuild again and now it all works properly.

I'll still be checking the process templates though to see if I can find why it
broke in the first place.

It's very, very possible as it's an existing TFS server that has been used for
many other projects by many other people. Unfortunately none of the people
here now have any real history with what's happened on this server.

I'm going to have to put my investigators hat J

The question I have then has somebody been playing with the process templates?
You might also want to look here

Hi Chris,

I've already tried that.

I've also completely removed the OLAP data directory before doing
setupwarehouse (as per
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=317697&SiteID=1) but
that didn't work either.

I've also tried the "bare earth" policy and used the -rebuild option for
setupwarehouse. Also no luck.

I'd think the next step would be to drop the TFSWarehouse database completely,
but I haven't looked into what steps I'd need to get that back up and running.

Richard,

Whilst I haven't seen this specific error, I have had errors with the Warehouse
before. When I had them I just rebuilt the cube and the problem went away.
Some of the problems can happen if people have been playing with the Process
templates. You can rebuild the Warehouse cube, by using the following command.

      setupwarehouse -o -s ServerName -d TFSWarehouse -c warehouseschema.xml -a
TFSServiceAccount -ra TFSReportAccount.

More information about the command can be found here.

Hi,

Out of curiosity has anyone seen these sort of analysis services errors before
during cube processing?

Detailed Message: Processing OLAP failed
Exception Message: The member '[10/30/2007]' was not found in the cube when the
string, [Date].[Date].[Date].[10/30/2007], was parsed.
The END SCOPE statement does not match the opening SCOPE statement.
MdxScript(Team System) (66, 1) The END SCOPE statement does not match the
opening SCOPE statement.
The member '[Week of October 28]' was not found in the cube when the string,
[Date].[Week].[Week].[Week of October 28], was parsed.
The END SCOPE statement does not match the opening SCOPE statement.
MdxScript(Team System) (70, 1) The END SCOPE statement does not match the
opening SCOPE statement.
The member '[October, 2007]' was not found in the cube when the string,
[Date].[Month].[Month].[October, 2007], was parsed.
The END SCOPE statement does not match the opening SCOPE statement.
MdxScript(Team System) (74, 1) The END SCOPE statement does not match the

I've been trying to figure out what is causing it, but so far I've come up with
nothing.
