Agree with Clint. check it out: http://wix.sourceforge.net/votive.html

There's nothing unique about a WIX project type, and we have one under TFS
version control playing quite happily.

Might be something to do with the solution file.

2 cents worth:

 1. Need to have the solution file checked out
 2. Try the "File --> Source Control" menu rather than the right-click context
menu, there are more options available.

.wxs is a WiX project (Windows Installer XML). Not sure why he can't add to
source control, I didn't have a problem. Does he have WiX installed?

Thanks

Subject: [OzTFS] WXS project files in TFS

A co-worker created a .WXS project file in visual studio with some MS add-in
(not sure what it is used for) and when right clicking on the project in
Solution explorer, he doesn't get the option to add it to source control... I
have no idea why this is happening.

Any ideas?
