Alvin,

The tbl_File table in Team System already stores a HashValue for each
file, could you use this?

Subject: [OzTFS] Question about bissubscribe

Hi all,

I'm looking at the possibility of using bissubscribe to subscribe to the
check-in event to inject a checksum into checked-in code. There are a
few fields which are required to inject into the file such as changeset
which prevents me from using a checkin policy. The process of inserting
the checksum into each checked-in file requires opening the file and
generating the checksum based on file contents. I would like to hear
about your experiences and the feasibility of such an approach in terms
of performance and scalability (branching and merging can potentially
involve over a thousand files).

Cheers,

Alvin
