I'm trying to install TFS 2008 using a remote *named *instance of sql
reporting services...(MyReportSvr\dp01)

Sql browsing services are enabled on this server.

Per the docs, I've customized the msiproperty.ini file in the "AT"
subdirectory as shown below.

;-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
;Reporting Services
;-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VSTF_RS_SERVER=MYREPORTSVR
VSTF_RS_REPORTS_URI=http://MyReportSvr/Reports$DP01
VSTF_RS_REPORTSERVER_URI=http://MyReportSvr/ReportServer$DP01

*What happens in this case is that the installation fails, and in the log
you see this snippet:*

[02/20/08,13:21:37] TFSUI: getcurrenttfsproperties.exe: --- STATUS: Writing
VSTF_RS_SERVER=MYREPORTSVR into C:\Documents and Settings\k07878\Local
Settings\Temp\SIT23080.tmp\TfsCurrConfig.ini section Config
[02/20/08,13:21:37] TFSUI: getcurrenttfsproperties.exe: --- STATUS: Found no
instances of WMI class MSReportServer_ConfigurationSetting under namespace
\\MYREPORTSVR\root\Microsoft\SqlServer\ReportServer\v9\v10\Admin
[02/20/08,13:21:37] TFSUI: getcurrenttfsproperties.exe: ===* WARNING:
Selecting the first instance name of SQLB*
[02/20/08,13:21:37] TFSUI: getcurrenttfsproperties.exe: --- STATUS: Found
SQLRS windows service name of ReportServer$SQLB
[02/20/08,13:21:37] TFSUI: getcurrenttfsproperties.exe: --- STATUS: Found
SQLRS application pool of DefaultAppPool
....

*In other words, the installation isn't using the correct named instance of
reporting services.*

So, you might say to use "VSTF_RS_SERVER=MYREPORTSVR\dp01" - but this
doesn't work either, because the installation apparently expects to do some
WMI queries with VSTF_RS_SERVER set to nothing but a machine name (so the
install fails with this case too.)

*Does anyone know how to configure msiproperty.ini for a remote,
named-instance of Reporting Services?  Thanks!*
