Nic,
Have you looked at Work Item Web Access as an alternative to Team System Web Access? http://blogs.msdn.com/hakane/archive/2008/04/09/what-is-work-item-web-ac cess-wiwa.aspx Regards, William From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nic Stronell Sent: Wednesday, 11 June 2008 8:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [OzTFS] Very Specific Access Control for TFS We are a web development company with many disparate clients, some of which have access via Team System Web Access. These clients need to be able to raise issues and bugs and view the status of open work items. They can also create new queries. When creating a query, and select the Team Project field, they can see a list of all our other projects in TFS. Merely seeing some of our other projects (which include client names) is often a commercially sensitive issue. We'd rather this was not the case. We are happy for client to not be able to create queries at all, but I can't figure out how to stop them from creating queries but at the same time, continue to allow them work item access. Any help appreciated. Nic Stronell OzTFS.com - to unsubscribe from this list, send a message back to the list with 'unsubscribe' as the subject.
