Hi,

I do not think you will have any issues reusing the TFS 2005 domain
accounts, though you will require these additional accounts in '08:
wssService (WSS v3) and tfsBuild (Team Build 2008).

Subject: [OzTFS] TFS 2008 installation along side existing TFS 2005 in
same Windows domain

Hi all,

We are planning on installing TFS 2008 as a fresh instance rather than
upgrading our existing TFS 2005 instance and just migrating the bits we
want. My question relates to the domain accounts & groups that TFS uses.
Is it safe to reuse the existing domain accounts & groups that were
setup as part of the TFS 2005 install or should I configure new ones
during the TFS 2008 install (TFSService2008, TFSBuild2008, etc.)?

Regards,

Damian Edwards
