The following error (see below) pops up when I go to run my team builds in TFS 2005. The path to the build directory is completely valid (F:\TeamBuild) in the TFSBuild.proj file. The build service and administrators group all have access to this directory (ie correct ACL's).
Traces from the build server(Windows server 2003 SP1) seem to show the same error being thrown back to the TFS application tier (which exists on another machine). In the event log on the machine that hosts the app tier, the following error below is logged. Basically stating the same error I get in tfs when trying to kick team build off. Any ideas as to what might have happened on my build server that could be causing this ? I did some searches on google but it says basically either it's a bad path... or my server doesn't support ACL's. I am pretty sure both of these are not the case. ------- Event Type: Error Event Source: TFS Build Event Category: None Event ID: 3000 Date: 8/21/2008 Time: 1:10:22 PM User: N/A Computer: OHCLEIIS4192 Description: TF53010: An unexpected condition has occurred in a Team Foundation component.
