I've not seen or used it but there is a book called A Young Person's Guide to
Philosophy by Jeremy Waite. It's described as "a chronological journey through
the history of Western philosophy and the lives and times of some of its
greatest thinkers...a heavily illustrated treasure chest that successfully
harnasses the subject matter and brings it down to earth, showing so many of
the ways in which all of this really does matter to our lives today." It is
for ages 13 and up and is $11.55 at Amazon.com.
