I just used the wordless picture book, You Can't Take a Balloon into the National Gallery in my class. (There are a few books in this series) There are pictures of real pieces of art on the pages and I loved how the action in the story could also be portrayed in the art work. My kids really enjoyed it!
There is also another book, and I can't think of the title, about an art thief and the reader has to look at the art and try and figure out the mystery. I think I received that book from Scholastics.
