I sent you a separate email with an attachment with some links for 
Fever 1793 (my stripped down AOL messed up the links when I tried to 
post to the list.)

One of our teachers paired it with Jim Murphy's nonfiction book 
American Plague, and had a very successful unit.  It ties in perfectly 
with our 8th grade social studies curriculum, as well.  There's not 
that much literature for the time period after the Revolutionary War.
