One of our teachers paired it with Jim Murphy's nonfiction book American Plague, and had a very successful unit. It ties in perfectly with our 8th grade social studies curriculum, as well. There's not that much literature for the time period after the Revolutionary War. If anybody else would like the links, please email me directly.
