Good Morning, Jan, We've been using it in Fresno for a year now. You will get some mixed opinions, but my teachers don't like it. It's very scripted and has to be done in order. The TE are scattered and hard to read. There is a lousy writing component. It is so badly constructed that our literacy coach will be spending the summer cutting off the bindings off the TE and putting them in binders in a more usable order.
You are supposed to spend one whole week on a tiny text. The testing is individualized. but it takes hours to give. The must get 90% on the testing to pass or move up. An experienced teacher can suppliment it and work around it, but in our district experienced teachers wanted nothing to do with it. It is being taught by new teachers mostly.
