I like to use webquests, but it's rare to find one with all working 
links that exactly fits your learning situation.  I think part of the 
reason is that so many of them were completed as part of an education 
class requirement; when the class is over, the maintenance of the 
webquest is not a priority anymore.

That said, it is a good idea to look and see what's our there.  You can 
even put the topic you are interested in  +webquest into a search 
engine and come up with quite a bit.

My big problem with webquests is the number of teachers who say they 
are doing a webquest when they are just doing a glorified scavenger 
hunt.  A good webquest will have the students use some higher level 
thinking skills to create some type of product to match the objectives 
of the webquest.
