Are there still teachers who teach the same content to multiple classes more than once a day and year after year? I change curriculum yearly in a three year cycle and never repeat until the cycle is up! I teach Lit, English, two classes of S.S, to my multi-agers (6-8th) and 7th grade math. I find in my SS classes, I sometimes forget which class I did one thing with. I start out with the same time frame at the beginning of each quarter but as things come up, (field trips, snow days, assemblies), I find one class moves ahead and then the other. How do you keep track? I imagine you must work all the bugs out of a lesson! I also wonder, somewhat enviously, do you ever get bored? I am never bored but often exhausted! How do you stay fresh?
