I just recommended that our librarian purchase a copy for our professional
development shelf at school. The first edition of "Strategies" is one of
the most marked-up books I own. At first I thought it was just a book for
reading teachers, but this book taught me about presenting all kinds
material in a way that students will learn. Somehow the style of the book,
and her style of teaching were just what I needed. I highly recommend this
resource.
