WHITE SOCKS ONLY is a great book told by a grandmother who is telling a
story to her granddaughter about when she had to drink from a separate
drinking fountain because of her color. It starts out in the present
until she starts to tell the story. Adolescents really enjoy this
book, as well.

Does anyone know of a good picture book that illustrates flashback?
I know
the novel Where the Red Fern Grows does a good job, but I want a
picture
book. Thanks, Patty
