While my Mom-in-Law is responding to treatment, she ate a little
today, I am in awe of those who have taken care of her and those who
keep the hospital running so well.

The hospital, and this special care unit, runs much like a school
and low and behold, there are some who stand out. It reminded me of
the postings about "making others look bad." There has been one nurse
in special care who has been incredible. Believe me they are all
awesome, but this young man takes his job to heart. He eventually
requested my MIL to be under his care on his shifts. He makes her
smile, he is tough with her when he needs to be, he advocates for her
care, he seems to know when she needs a "break" and will quietly talk
to however is with her about the number of visitors for a time, he
drew diagrams ( with a funny picture of my MIL) of all the "equipment
and explained how each worked for my Mom and Father in law and he just
called us at home to celebrate the fact that she ate a little
breakfast!!! I swear he is part of the reason she is getting better.

So I want to write to the hospital about how great the care has been
with a nod to this young man. Who, however should receive such a
message?
Does anyone on our list have experience with hospitals or how I should
go about this idea?
