These are great suggestions. I'd like to add: differentiation that focuses on
higher level thinking skills for struggling readers and real-life activities
for assessment.

Hi!

So some of us are already back in classes, and the rest of us will be
before too long. What are topics you'd like to explore as we move through
the year? How do you see your needs evolving at different stages of the
year (for example - beginning of school, autumn settling in, Thanksgiving
and subsequent holidays, winter blahs, spring hope, end of school)? This
can help us set an agenda for what we'd like to accomplish during the year.

Thanks!

Take care,
