I'd be interested in hearing what you are doing with your struggling
readers this year. I have three classes of 8th grade AIS (academic
intervention)
reading. The skills are pretty weak and what scares me the most is they don't
see when they are losing their way in a text. I've been doing some lessons
with hearing their inner voice which I hope will help but would love to hear
what
other teachers are doing with this age group.
