I want to talk to my kids about designing their own persuasive writing prompts in which to practice for state and local testing.
I plan on brainstorming with them and I will report back to you folks. However, I am trying to give them an example using "popularity" as the basis for discussion. Why is popularity so important to middle schoolers? ( which doesn't seem to lend it self to being a persuasive prompt) Perhaps, " Do you believe popularity is important to middle schoolers?" What do you think? Any suggestions? -- Tena _______________________________________________ The Literacy Workshop ListServ http://www.literacyworkshop.org To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/lit_literacyworkshop.org.
