Tena, "Twilight" was our Summer Book Club Book here at literacyworkshop. We held a book chat. I don't know if it's still available on-line. Most loved the book. I didn't mostly for the reasons you stated. I didn't see much redeeming social value to the book. I'll see if I can locate the chat.
