While the child may not be told to leave, the parents may be made to feel their child would be better off somewhere else. The school depicted in the movie expelled the 2nd graders fro stealing small items and putting them in his cubby. He also believed he was from Mars! I'm not sure that would get a child expelled at most schools. However, we have all heard stories of kids expelled for what seems like ridiculous reasons. Tena
