Tena, It was inspiring to read about your cousin and her contributions to the local paper, and then to read that you have a volume of her writing--what a treasure! I imagine it's no longer in print, but it got me to thinking... Like your cousin, I live in a small rural community, with a small local paper. I don't know if I could get up the gumption to write a regular column, but at the least I could do a better job of keeping my blog updated.
