Our school is an established small school (15 years) with an extremely supportive principal and a congenial working environment, small classes (no more than 20, usually 16). We also have access to quality professional development. Middle School educators who would like to make the transition to high school are also welcome to apply. We are looking for an experienced, caring, knowledgeable teacher who has experience teaching struggling adolescent readers and developing ways to engage students who might have had past negative experiences with school and/or reading, as well as someone who is comfortable working in teams.
