This could just be an entry by a non-malicious program you have. The only entry in google i could find for SaMos [EMAIL PROTECTED] (there were other SaMoses) was at
http://wxlists.sunsite.dk/noframes/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/author/S
and when I got the page up this [EMAIL PROTECTED] wasn't there any more. But googles cache had it down as an author of a message which is still archived on wxlists:
http://wxlists.sunsite.dk/noframes/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ message/425/78
saying:

From: SaMoS
Subject: wxSocketBase - SetNotify
Date: Sat, 2 Aug 2003 03:39:58 +0200

Hi,

I make a small client - server application based on the 'sockets' example,
and SetNotify doesn't work :

void Frame::OnSocketEvent(wxSocketEvent& event)
{

}

Result :

Arrive : H
Arrive : E
Arrive : L
Arrive : O
etc...

But the wxSOCKET_INPUT event is called, do you have a good method to get all
datas in one shot (size of datas arrived)

Thanks a lot,

Samos

I couldn't figure out what the list is about in the short time I had, but it looks less suspicious than the log entry implies. If you do a content search for samos you might turn up a readme file or something that would indicate which program it is.
