I'm having issues with configuring my Mail app. in OSX...essentially, i'm able to receive mail, but sending mail is very erratic...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It struck me that perhaps Little Snitch is doing something? After all, it's only an issue with outgoing mail! Any thoughts? Thanks!
are you by any chance using a gmail pop account? i have noticed sending mail thru their secure smtp server can fail at times (probably due to high volume, and the fact that it's still in beta, requires authentication etc)
totally unrelated to littlesnitch in this case.
