| I was wondering what the application request for port 80 (http) was about. For example, I have SpamSieve set to NOT check for updates automatically, yet every time I start the program it asks to connect to port 80. I've noticed a few other programs do this as well. At http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/faq.html one of the rules they indicated that is commonly used is "TheApplication" Deny any connection to port 80. When and why would you want to allow or deny such a rule? Thanks in advance, Todd |
