Likely you are correct as there is not a chorus of users sharing my problem. Either that, or FinderPop is not used by as many now as it was during its OS 9 days. At this time I have reinstalled LS 1.2.2 and will play with removing FinderPop and reinstalling after LS 1.2.3b2. Thanks for your help and thanks also for enlightenment re "Auntie".
