I too have noticed an unpleasant intolerance creeping in to some
comments recently - it is well to remember that not everyone is a
technical genius, or geek, and that we should always try to help
everyone who needs advice.
Snide and intolerant remarks are both rude and unwelcome, even if the
posters thereof are the only persons in the world who really do know
everything about everything.
