Hi,

on ubuntu 9.04, tring to install py-qwt4 but it give me this log :

python-qwt4:
Depends from : python v.(<2.6), but will be installed v. 2.6.2-0ubuntu1

seems that the packages was maded using a different python version (2.5)
instead of python v.3.6

i don't kow how if only my buntu vm is affected by this problem, maybe exists a work around i can try to google about it.

In the past i tried to install qwt and pyqwt from source using a precise python executable to fix he problem.

Massimo.

Hi,

I tried to finde what python packages are needed by the qgis plug-in
and what is needed to install some R packages.

The R-packages list come from the book :

"
http://www.amazon.com/Applied-Spatial-Data-Analysis-Use/dp/0387781706/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpi_1 "

i've not included the qgis plug-in, the user can easy do itself (select
what he needs)

but maybe we can add the .qgis directory in the /home/user/ to have
already installed some plug-in, tell me what you think about.

(minor issue : ubuntu has a python dependencies problem, it is not able
to install the pyQwt libraries,
so is not possible to have raster-profile and scattergram plug-in)

At the request of the QGIS team I included python-qwt-qt4 in the QGIS
script, does that one work for Jaunty?

Alex
