> install_osgearth.sh fails - see /var/log/osgeolive/main_install.log
this was because the script before it left the packaging system in a
confused state, and when that happens the system refuses to install
anything else until you sort it out (so as not to make things any worse).
The ossim dependency problem was immediately fixed & so calling this one
fixed as well.
