Ian,
I wonder whether you'd be able to knock together a cut of a one page
Overview document for GeoServer (in RST format)?
I'm hoping you'd be able to knock it over in 30 mins or so.

It is possible you'd also be able to easily pull together a Quick Start for
the OSGeo-Live DVD very easily from your existing material.

OK - When do you need it by? because high res screen shots will need
to wait until I'm in the office next which might be Tuesday.

Ian

Ian,
I'd love to have the text before we cut the User Acceptance Test this Monday 2 August. It is likely that Brian could create a sceen shot for you in the next 24 hours or so. If not, you can get the screen shot in some time next week.
(You can also create the Quickstart with or without images next week)

Ian,
Could you please respond to the public email on this thread to let others know that you are writing this text, to ensure someone else doesn't double up on effort.

Brian, any chance you could create a screen shot of GeoServer for Ian?

It would be great to see the postgis versioned editing in a screenshot
I dont have that set up anywhere here

otherwise I would just go for Layers Preview, w/ Admin peeking out in the back
and a sample map to the side

Q. projects are adding *either* 800x600 or 1024x768 ?

  -Brian
