hi Cameron,
seems i find a solution, i build the software locally on a fresh xubuntu and i stored all the build in a directory (150 mb) i tried it on the live-gis VM and it works as aspected (it only need the LD_LIBRARY_PATH to be setted) tell me i can i add a replacement of install_ossim.sh to try thi procedure unless a new debian packages will ready.
