I thought that we'd already removed that from the front pages?
The tests link was on the top banner, but has been moved to the bottom
header on the page here:

With the 4.5 release I'm hoping to have Quickstarts for all
applications, which means people will be able to work out how to run the
applications (which the tests also helped with).
I'm comfortable removing the Tests link out of the main docs and keeping
it in the wiki page if people need to find it.
