AFAIK, PGDG is not using UbuntuGIS packages (GDAL etc) to build its
PostGIS version.
This means that we would need to do the opposite, re-base UbuntuGIS to
PGDG, which I don't see happening.
This could have happened if both UbuntuGIS and PGDG were based on upstream
Ubuntu packages...
I propose to close this ticket.
