Hi everybody!

I use the live555mediaServer for Streaming a MPEG1 Video Stream to two
receivers. My question concerns the CPU load connected with this server. When
starting the server and streaming the requested video live555mediaServer needs
about 5% of the CPU. While streaming, the server is in the "sleep" state. After
the streaming is completed the server switches to the state "running" and
consumes about 80% - 90% of the CPU. But why is that?

I tried to study the documentation files as well as the source codes for
live555mediaServer, but since I am really new with C++ Programming, I could not
find out the reason for this high consume of the CPU load.

Can anybody help me? What does the server do, after it quits to stream? Why
does it need so much CPU?

Thanks,

Anna
