I am trying to do controlled streaming of a media file using the live555 server. In the sense, if I wish to transmit only 10% of a file, I want to be able to do so.
The RTSP protocol lets you specify the start and end times of the stream. Note the "start" and "end" parameters to "RTSPClient::playMediaS(ubs)ession()". Also, if you are using the "openRTSP" client, note the "-d" and "-s" options.
