I suggest replacing the use of "FileSink" in the VLC code with the use of some other "MediaSink" subclass - that you would write.

Alternatively, if your stream is video-only, then you could redirect the output to 'stdout' - using the "-v" option - and then pipe "openRTSP" to a new application (that you would write) that reads from 'stdin'. That way, you won't need to modify the "openRTSP" code at all.
