I just started using live555 yesterday but i have a problem about
streaming mpg file.
I have installed live555 Media Server on a Ubuntu PC, and use VLC
player on another Ubuntu PC to get stream from this PC.
I can stream my mp3 file in this way by typing
"rtsp://<http://111.111.11.11:8554/>111.111.11.11:8554/<filename>",
but I cannot stream my mpg files in this way.

It means a MPEG-1 or 2 Program Stream file, whose file name ends with
".mpg". :-)
