SAG board votes to oust executive director Doug Allen
A majority of board members on the Screen Actors Guild today moved to
oust the union's executive director Doug Allen, citing a crisis in
leadership inside Hollywood's largest actors union.
The directors said in a statement that they had delivered a document to
SAG headquarters, signed by a majority of board members, that
authorized that Allen be immediately replaced as national executive
director by former SAG General Counsel David White, who will serve as
interim executive director.
