Los Angeles Times | January 26, 2009 | 12:24 p.m. PT --- SAG board votes to oust executive director Doug Allen A majority of board members on the Screen Actors Guild today moved to oust the union's executive director Doug Allen, citing a crisis in leadership inside Hollywood's largest actors union. The directors said in a statement that they had delivered a document to SAG headquarters, signed by a majority of board members, that authorized that Allen be immediately replaced as national executive director by former SAG General Counsel David White, who will serve as interim executive director.
