Ex-EBay CEO Meg Whitman announces run for California governor
Whitman, a 52-year-old Republican, announced she will run for governor
of California to replace Arnold Schwarzenegger when his term ends in
2010.
She joins a growing list of potential successors to Schwarzenegger,
including U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Jerry Brown, state attorney
general and former governor, both Democrats.
