Los Angeles Times | February 19, 2009 | 1:17 p.m. PT --- Dow Jones industrials end at lowest level in more than six years At 7,465 - an 89-point drop - the Dow Jones industrials are ending at their lowest level in more than six years. In other economic news, Southern California home prices continued their decline in January, falling to 2002 levels. Meanwhile, oil prices jumped today as new government data showed oil inventories fell unexpectedly and consumption of gasoline and other petroleum products — which have been plummeting because of the recession — may be starting to edge higher.
