Los Angeles Times | February 24, 2009 | 1:03 p.m. PT --- Stock markets rebound sharply The stock market rebounded sharply today, regaining nearly all of its losses in Monday's big sell-off, after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said that regulators weren't planning to nationalize banks and that the recession might end this year. The Dow Jones industrial average soared about 230 points, or 3.3%.
